Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kg

  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp

  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp

  • Onion sliced 2 large

  • Yogurt 1 cup

  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp

  • White pepper powder 1 tsp

  • Cumin powder 1 tsp

  • Coriander powder 2 tsp

  • Whole spices powder 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste

  • Kewra water 1 tsp

  • Green cardamom 2-4

  • Cloves 2-4

  • Bay leaves 2

  • Black pepper corn 2-4

  • Oil 3/4 cup or as to required

  • Water 1 cup

Directions

  • In pot,add oil,onion and fry until light golden & set aside.
  • In a bowl,add chicken,ginger,garlic paste,yogurt,salt,cumin powder,coriander powder,black pepper powder,white pepper powder,whole spices powder,and mix well.marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pot,add green cardamom,bay leaf,cloves,black pepper corns and fry for few minutes.
  • Add marinate chicken fry until chicken changes color,cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add fried & crushed onion and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add water, and mix well cover and cook on medium flame until oil leaving the side of pot.
  • Now add kewra water.
  • Serve with Naan.
