Chicken Zingy Parcel

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 Cup All- purpose flour (sifted)
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 Cup Lukewarm milk
  • Lukewarm water to knead

Stuffing Ingredients

  • 1 cup Boneless Chicken small cubes
  • 1/2 Cup Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar

Other Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Cooking oil
  • Butter melted
  • Chilli flakes


Dough Preparation

  • In a bowl add,flour,yeast,salt,sugar,melted butter and milk mix well all the ingredients and grudually add lukewarm water to knead the dough for 5 minutes.If the dough is stickly then you may sprinkle some flour and knead the dough with your hand for 2 minutes until the dough is soft.
  • Now we will keep it in this round form now little melted butter on hand and apply it to dough properly.and transfer the dough to the bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and rest the dough at least 2 hours.(room temperature)

Stuffing Preparation

  • Add oil to the pan, add onion fry for a minute until the onion slightly brown add ginger,garlic paste and chicken and fry for 5 minutes until chicken change color.add tomato puree,black pepper powder,red chilli powder,chilli flakes,salt,cumin powder,coriander powder,soy sauce,vingar,tomato ketchup,hot sauce and oregano mix well and cook for 5 minutes until liquid is dries up.(stuffing is ready).

Assembling The Chicken Zingy Parcels

  • open the cover of the dough and knead it again so the air bubbles comes out.
  • Sprinkle little amount of flour and roll it in a rectangular shape.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
  • Now take one piece and roll each part into round roti, it is a triangle shape now fold the edges of the stuffing at the center and take all the three ends to join them and seal at the top.
  • Now with the help of the brush apply melted butter on prepared chicken zingy parcels and sprinkle chili flakes bake in a preheated oven at 180 c for 15-20 minutes. until golden brown.
